Religion; A Calamity of Errors

Karl Marks was right, religion is man's escape from the reality that is his meager existence. It is his inner being's pain medication with which, he tents to self-medicates himself into a spiritual coma where thought and reason are seemingly unnecessary. Just like any other drug, religion robs the addict of their individuality replacing it with a false need and self fulfilling prophecy.

After an opening like that I'm quite sure readers will assume I am anti-God and the Bible. I assure you, nothing could be further from the truth. If I am to be labeled let it be that I am "Anti-Religion" for religion is man made and has very little basis in Scripture. Religion is man's idea of what the Creator would have us do and how we are to worship Him.

I contend that, either by ignorance or deliberate intent man has confused and confounded the Bible and it's basic lesson - of which there is only one. I further contend this to be stated in scripture in places such as; Isa 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.". In man's arrogant assumptions he has presumed to understand what God wants by twisting His Word to suite his own agenda. Case in point, there are six points referred to in the Bible of things God hates, they are;

Pro 6:16 "These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 "A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 "A heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 "A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."

Nowhere in God's Word does it say that He hates America or even homosexuals for that matter. This group has found the means to sidestep hate laws and put forth their fascist propaganda of hate with a seething enforcement from God - or so it would appear! These people typify what is wrong with religion and merely tip the iceberg of the atrocities committed throughout the ages in the name of God and religion.

Below you will find an ever growing table of content of topics that will hopefully dispel the myths man has twisted out of scripture and eventually expose the one and only true lesson of the Bible. Please understand, I am not here to teach you, that you must do yourself I am merely offering and more radical look at God's message.

Note: The word radical has been hijacked by self-serving politicians looking to make it appear subversive. This was accomplished in the latter half of the nineteenth century and the idea seems to have made a foothold. A radical is one who digs to the root (look it up) of an issue. Exactly what the Bible tells us to do in 1Thessalonians 5:21; "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good."
